I posted this on my facebook. Just to spread the message. I think most people think immigrants steal their jobs, but the truth is sometimes we struggle to hire a local person and then a foreigner walks in with the skills we need, but we can't hire him. (this is not to say we have not had good quality local people for the job as well)

One of the reason may be L1 is misused very badly by body shoppers from all over the world.. example software companies ..
In case the person dont get H1B they will apply on L1 and get the green card fast, and also some guys come here on visit visa B1 Visa.
Meanwhlle genuine people here waitng for more than 10 years under Employment Based category.

Now that 485 is allowed till 17th what should be a strategy for H4 visa. I am sure many of us must be planning to get married earlier and get our spouse here. If she is asked during visa interview about why sudden rush to get H4 should she just say family reasons or mention the intent to file 485. H1/H4 is a dual intent visa and thus as far as I know telling visa officer the reason for sudden rush is to file 485 should not be a problem.
But I want other peoples opinion on this. Any suggestions or does anyone see any potential problem with this scenario.

I enter US four times this year by using AP, same airport, but different experience. 1st, 2nd and 3rd entry was sent to secondary check. But the 4th entry, the CBP said it's unnecessary for secondary check and fill new I-94 because previous officers are new guys, don't know the rule. I thought 1st entry is definitely need go secondary check.

Hi,
My I140 got denied early this year and the appeal is pending. Processing times for the appeal is 22 months. My priority date will be current next month. Because of that i am considering to refile my I140 and 485 again and withdraw the appeal.
1) Can we refile I140 with the same category (EB2)
2) Can USCIS just deny the new I140 because of the earrlier denial
3) Is there any one who tried this. What is the outcome of the new I140 application.
Please share your experience and also please advice

I went to US on B1 and came back to india last week, I would like to apply H1 in the current year. Is there any cooling period to apply H1B once come back from US on B1 or Can I start the H1B process immediately.

The President has started revealing his plans on immigration for the next year. It sounds like he's planning on trying a do-over with Congress and attempting again to get a comprehensive immigration bill passed. He'll make the case for this in his State of the Union Address. I'm happy the President is still interested in working for change, I sincerely hope he is not making passing a reform bill his SOLE strategy. I'm reminded of Presidents in the past who regularly spoke in favor of something, but you just knew they didn't really care and were just trying to appease...

3 years easily one can wait can say but why for more then 6 yers.
Who are talking time management that didn't applies here.
Who are talking productinve loss for applicant who can earn more then 80k coz of LC approval not who is responsible.
This shows the effect of retrogression!!
