I'm looking for buying a new mac mini that "might" come out soon, here's some little things would like to know about.
Keyboard, I ordered one bluetooth keyboard (will use to go with my ipod or phone) said support MAC 3.0, i don't know what that is.. (not a mac guy, yet), would it be work with the mini? If don't, should I get a normal or full size keyboard from apple?
Second, I had a bluetooth mouse, but I think I would like to sit or lay on my bed to work with it, anyone tried the Magic Trackpad? It likes would be better to use when I'm not on my table.
Thanks for reading and y'all answers :)

yeah I upgraded to a Hitachi Travelstar 500gb 7200, works well. Personally I would go for WD black. For me there has been no difference in battery life between my the hitachi and my stock 60gb 5400, even though the speeds are better.

What were the airport issues you were having? At home, my wireless seems a bit quicker to load pages, but at Borders, I notice that my computer finds the wireless connection way faster and connects equally fast.

This is indeed a well known issue with cubes. Some people were affected immediately, and others only after a period of time like you.
My cube has a 'seizure' about once every 4 months and it will do this for an hour or two and then correct itself and be fine again.
There have been numerous causes and solutions suggested and it appears that different things work for different machines.
The usual cause is the proximity switch - the touch sensitive one on top of the cube. Most people report that the switching on and off is caused by a badly fitting or loose gasket around this switch inside the cube.
Some people say that making sure this gasket is seated firmly will cure the problem, and others have had this replaced (for free) by Apple.
I have never found this to be the case with mine, it just seems to have a mind of its own, for short spells every now and again.
Some people have also reported that this happens on hot days or when the air-con is swithed off. I've not noticed this (as I live in the UK it never gets hot!).
There have been hundreds of discussions on this topic since the cube was introduced and you can probably find some useful info on the web.
I'm not sure why Apple have not provided more help on this topic given what a widespread issue it was/is, but I just searched Google for "Apple Cube Switch problem" and it came back with a lot of links. Bear in mind that the solution for one cube may not help yours! I guess this is the price we have to pay for having the coolest computer the world has ever seen :D
Cheers,

I'm planning on coming. I didn't pre-order so I'll get there pretty early. I'm going to call the store this week and try to find out if they have an idea of the number of phones not already sold through pre-order.
FWIW, I was walking by the store this weekend on the way to somewhere else so I popped in and I asked one of the workers if they were planning on having very many phones beyond the pre-order batch.
He did say that they were planning on having "some" but that he wasn't sure how long that batch would last hehe.

To be honest, I don't think the hackers are trying to unlock the newer basebands. Sherif said in December that there would be an unlock for 3.10 Baseband in Mid January, but obviously that hasn't happened. I am very doubtful they will unlock anything after 1.59.00 before the next iPhone is released (iPhone 5).
He got Involved in the political unrest in his country. Shame on him. I think allot of the hackers are sick of all tge crybabies. At least those that feel intitled to jb/un

Don't know your taste, but Andrew Sergovia (great spanish style), Dave Matthews w/ Tim Reynolds is good (Tim Reynolds is awesome!), Dispatch, Iron and Wine, Nick Drake...see how you like those.

That's probably it then. You have to install RAM in the G5 in matched pairs, meaning same speed and capacity.
I have tried that, I have used 2 matching 1 gig strips and 2 matching 512mb strips, still no luck all I get is the fans start up, everything seems to be powered inside the box, fans, vid card fans working, nothing on the keyboard or the mouse. The power switch LED flashes twice about every 5 seconds, the front fan with the speaker seems to want to speed up then carrys on normally about every 10 to 15 seconds.

were you using it on a tmobile?
If you were using it on at&t you can downgrade it to 1.02 and still do jailbreak and install all your 3rd party apps and use iAsign to activate.

Not quite. You said c&p the whole quote. I said only need to c&p the quote= part (the bit with square brackets and the poster's name inside). Each to their own. Maybe I shouldn't have said 'much faster', but it works for me.

BLAAAAA!!!
So I cant do it with a DVD at all? WTH? Seems very inconvenient to need the special USB install media.
This is just a thought, but maybe you could take one of your own flash drives into an Apple Store? They might be willing to clone one of the USB drives for you, or maybe even replace it for a small fee.

No, because it only applies to Macs bought at one of the listed locations.
I see, I'm going to read over the Terms And Conditions after work.
One part says "For the purpose of these Terms and Conditions, the time of purchase may extend from the day of your Mac purchase until the end of Apples 14-day return period".
I guess it still implys that I need to purchase the computer from Apple and only Apple, but that I have two weeks to purchase the 1 to 1.

Hey Folks.
So today my boss mentioned that it would be really nice to use babel fish to translate our entire website much like what is being done here:
http://www.golfgolden.com/content/view/10/33/
with the babelfish box on the left side.
This actually isn't a bad idea over all, except when I try running our website (http://www.SkiBig3.com) through babel fish it breaks the DHTML drop down menus, I suspect this has to do with the fact that babelfish sticks the site into a frame but I'm wondering if anyone has or knows of a work around for this??
Babelfish is an abomination, useful only for laughs. Here's a paragraph from a German news website (FAZ.net) translated into English.
"Because on 22 July officials shot the innocent Brazilian Jean Charles de Menezes, whom they had regarded as a terrorist. For Blair however the reproaches, it are more serious an independent investigation of the "Independent policy Complaints Commission" in the case Menezes to stop wanted."

Are you saying that you are not impressed by this feature just because it doesn't fit YOUR need, even though you emphasize that it works very well if you have a small screen (most Mac users have the laptop)?
Runs smooth as butter on my 11" 2GB machine.
I am saying that this feature isn't very important to me. I know that for people with relative small displays or other needs, that full screen is a good idea (as I said before).
I am still giving Full screen mode a chance. I have been using mail and Safari in full screen the whole day and I am trying to find reasons to use it, but I think it doesn't fit in my workflows.
